 6 Months Old

Emma is now 6 months old, and she is doing wonderful. She is scooting all over, and getting on her hand and knees almost ready to crawl with her big brother! She is just about sitting up all by herself now. Just put the boppy in back of her just incase she falls on the hard floor. She went to the doctors today with her big brother and they both had their checkups. Emma did great!
At 5 months old she had her ears pierced! She did a great job! It was harder for me to see her get it done, than it actually was for her!

Vacation to Sesame Place

Emma went to see Elmo and Zoe with the family! She had a lot of fun looking at all the bright colors and listening to the elmo music all the time! She didn't get to go on the rides but still had a good time in the hotel!

4 Months Old

Emma is doing great! She has started eatting rice cereal a week before she turned 4 months. Then at 4 months and a week she started fruits and veggies. Her new schedule is as follows:


Sleeps at night till 7am eats a 6 oz bottle, then at 8am has cereal with some fruit.
takes a small morning nap (usually 1 hour-1.5 hours)
then she plays and watches her brother play. then at 11am has second bottle (6 oz)
then she will take a nap around 1-3 then she will have dinner around 4ish (bottle then an hour later eat)
she will eat half container of veggie. at around 7-7:30 her last bottle then goes to bed!


This works great if we are home, but when we are out for the day it gets mixed up with naps! sometimes she sleeps longer or shorter. 
Right now she is teething a lot i think a tooth should be coming soon! She only wants to sit up in her swing, and whenever she is on the floor or bed she rolls right over to belly!which is hard when she just ate she will spit up!
We are all looking forward to seeing her sit up on her own and start crawling!

3 months

Emma is now rolling over! We found her on her belly the other morning sleeping! She also is holding her head up very well! She is also giggling up a story with mommy and daddy!

4th of July

Emma went to Battleship Cove to watch fireworks. She slept through the firework display, but she was awake before them, and she had fun with her family!

Emma is smiling & talking all the time. She loves to talk to mom & Dad on our bead at night. She loves talking to thewall with dads shot glasses and wedding cross stitch picture. ( something about that wall makes her smile and chatter every night!) She is holding her head up so well already. She is very nosy and looks around all the time. (Her doctor says he thinks she will be an early walker) just like her mommy and daddy was. She looks in the direction of mom and dad's voices when she hears us. She is now drinking 5oz at each feeding starting on 6/24/10. She is going through a growing sprit right now. Sometimes she needs to eat after 3 hours. Sleeping really great-sleeps 11-5 most nights. Last night she went from 10-4:30am(and she woke up only cause daddy made a loud noise dropping something) We are very happy with our little baby girl!

Emma is sleeping very well for us throughout the night. After her bottle i put her down and she goes right to sleep. She is only awake for 30 minutes for each feeding/diaper change.

Well, April 16th was my last official doctors appt and during the NST the doctor on call said that Emma's heart rate was dropping so she sent me to the ER for further monitoring of Emma! Mom brought me to the ER and while there things were looking good. (My OB was there at W & I so the nurses were letting her know the results. Being i was scheduled for a C-Section in three days she said why don't we just do it today, so i don't have to send you home nervous about her heart rate. She looks fine, so let's just get this baby out! So i was told at 1pm, I was having a C-Section at 4pm. At 4:05 they came and took me up to OR and we had Emma! She was born at 5:11pm! Healthy as can be!  We took her home on April 21, at 11am!
